I know it's only December but is it the attack of the scarves or what? Don't misunderstand me — I love and wear scarves often, but it seems like too many celebrities are wearing them all the time and during inappropriate situations, like on the red carpet and in scorching weather. Lindsay Lohan, has not only been loyal to her leggings since her return to LA, she's also been drowning in lengthy scarves. And we can't forget the leopard scarf epidemic that infected Kate Moss, SJP, and Ashley Olsen. I think scarves are a great way to accessorize a drab outfit, but I'm not for all scarves all the time, everywhere. What do you think? Are you over scarves?

it's cold outside. i certainly don't understand celebs wearing them in LA when it's warm!

5When you live in Upstate NY and get 90"+ of snow a year, you don't get OVER scarves. You use them because you need to!

9I love love love them, I have maybe ten or more... but I want more! They add comfort and style to an outfit. I never really liked turtlenecks, I don't like the feeling of it (I can't breathe...!) and they don't look good on me. Scarves are ideal for protecting the neck from a chilly breeze (even in the summer) and I can easily take it off, put it on with the temperature variations! It can be light silk or thick wool...My collection is just beginning!

It's 18 degrees outside... I wear my scarf and I do believe that they are still a great accessory if fashioned right, but only when they are also necessary.

36Well it is 30 degrees here and I wear a scarf because its freezing outside! Sure, it helps that its trendy and makes my outfit look cute - But It is more of a necessity than a trend to me...
37I LOVE scarves, but only when the weather calls for one. Not like with a tank top or something.

41I'm over them... for celebs anyway. Too many times has a giant scarf unnecessarily blocked my view of an outfit. It's just getting to the point where its a lazy attempt to accessorize. I'm not even gonna get started on how pretentious scarves are in warm weather.

44I love scarves. Plus, Grandma always said to wear a scarf.
45I have a ton of scarves, but we have a real live winter (with below zero temps and eat my skin off wind) where I live, so that is when I wear them. If I don't have to wear them, I don't. Since I do in winter, I am going to have a lot of fun of have a big variety to choose from while I stay toasty and able to breathe.

48i love scarves, but when it is 70 degrees and sunny, ditch the scarf so that the look doesn't loose all meaning on you.
