Writers are already set to picket the Golden Globes [3] on Jan. 13, and the Oscars are soon after on Feb. 24. Hollywood insiders are predicting [4] that this could be a red carpet-less awards season, because the writers expect actors to refuse to cross the picket lines.
Imagine a world without Reese's yellow Nina Ricci dress [5] or Gwyneth's pink Ralph Lauren gown — what a sad, sad world indeed.
