I love my tights. I go for textured ones. I live in Ontario and it's extremely cold here. Tights are a nice way to break out of the 'pants-every-day' routine. I absolutely adore the trend of
wearing them under bermudas and short-shorts.
i don't understand why people think tights are trendy...i love tights, don't get me wrong, but i've been wearing them (in the winter time) long before Blair Waldorf ever hit the small

Tights are super cute when worn the right way. But if you try to pass them off as leggings or pants for that matter (AHEM L. LOHAN) they look pretty ridiculous.
I like tights. And, they serve a purpose. I hate wearing pants to work everyday, but with the walk from the metro, I can't have bare legs. If I don't want the look of tights, but want to keep
my legs warm, I go with Danskin dance tights. If you get the non-shiny ones, they look pretty much like nude hose on your skin, but are thicker and last much longer without running! I highly
recommend them for those who aren't a huge fan of tights but want to stay warm!
I was wearing tights beginning last year before anyone I know.. and I'm still wearing them. It's one of those things that can get old if you do it everyday.. but so perfect for
every-so-often. This keeps things chic and unexpected

I agree with aimeeb. Maybe its because its hot where I live but I am sick a tired of tights, just like I'm sick and tired of leggins. I think its just because I hate when a trend becomes so
popular that you can't turn on your computer or Tv, open a magazine or go outside without seeing a bunch of people wearing the same thing.
Tights are NOT a trend. It HAS become trendy to wear funky colored ones and to wear tights with party dresses, but other than that, there's nothing new there. If they're a neutral color, they
really are no different from stockings/nylons, except they're warmer.
Not to mention that they are pretty much a necessity if you live in a colder climate and like to wear skirts and dresses to work(like I do). Who wears bare legs when it's 20 degrees outside?!

Tights are CLASSIC. To me, they will never be trendy and will never go out of style. It's ridiculous to try to wear a skirt or dress without them in cool weather, and they make short skirts
and dresses look classy as opposed to trashy. I love simple opaque black as well as colours and textures. A knee length wool skirt, opaque tights, and tall boots are the foundation for many
of my favourite outfits. It just looks stupid to try and wear certain things with bare legs (not to mention unflattering)

i tried and bought a pair just to be different (from my usual self), and i swear i took them back the next day.
they just aren't for me . . .i don't want to wear tights with a dress. when i wear a dress, it's because i want to show off my legs, not cover them. and if it's cold, (and i'm silly enough to
wear a dress), then i wear knee high boots.
maybe because everyone and their mama wears those things, i refuse to wear them. i hate looking like everyone else. . .

30Too too too cold and the snow is too deep here. You'd freeze your legs off.

43They let people wear summer dresses in the winter, so I think they're useful.
