Even when Roberto Cavalli softens up his designs, his ads still exude fierce sexuality. Such is the case for the brand's Spring/Summer 2008 ads featuring modern Botticelli angels Kate Moss, Daria Werbowy, and Eva Herzigova. Zebra prints have been replaced by flowers, keyholes by ruffles; but Cavalli's signature feathers and flowy frocks still abound. I'm captivated by these ads because they're ethereal but by no means innocent. The frocks are pretty and the models raw. The neon swimming pool lights in the background complement the hues of the clothes as well. Well, what do you think?

1they do what every good ad should do, which is catch your eye and hold you there. very well done.
2I liek them. They are classy yet sensual and full of colour and detail
3I like the way these adds looked before I zoomed in.
4Once I saw them up close I wasn't feeling them as much but they are pretty and I love all the color.

With a cast like that I was expecting more...

10i remember the days when cavalli was coveted and no one really knew the designs. now it's more mainstream - but i still don't mind looking at the ads

12The ads are really nice, but the theme is a little too girly-cutsie. . . not really the words that come to mind when I think about Roberto Cavalli . . .which is often . . .
13The models are just too skinny. Painful to look at them.
14Love the colors -- beautiful hair on models, lovely makeup. Hate the poses though; it looks way too contrived and disturbs the beauty of everything else. And I can't help but be distracted also by how ashy or swollen the model's knees look in the first photo. It's a little disappointing cuz I absolutely love what Kate Moss does in photos.
15Those colors are so inspiringto me; so rich and deep and vibrant.
