In memoriam, to those prominent fashion figures who departed in 2007: Isabella Blow, stylist, muse, and fashion editor; Liz Claiborne, mother of American sportswear; and Gianfranco Ferré, designer and "architect of fashion." May they all rest in peace.

Isabella Blow lived such a colorful live...u shld add Anna Nicole Smith bcus she said " make me beautiful...blah blah" that a legacy ...right?
1Gianfranco's death was unfortunate. He had such a zest for life and he loved to design. To new head designer of the house of Ferre has some big shoes to fill.
Isabella's death was tragic. She suffered through bouts of major depression and it was hard for her to find work even with her fame. I always felt McQueen could have done more to get her a job in his organization since it was Isabella who discovered him and introduced him to the major fashion writers.
2RIP Everyone

4I studied fashion in high school and on one of the school fashion shows Liz Clairborne was the special guest. She was so intelligent, inspiring and so down to earth. She made everyone in that auditorium feel so appreciated and she let us know that whatever our future led us to be every single one of us is special in whatever we did.
5I didn't know that Liz Clairborne passed this year. I always loved her clothes.
6Rest in peace.
