Although I rarely wear sneakers, Converse are my kicks of choice. These Converse All-Star Silver Sequin Chuck Taylors ($82) are way fun, but I'd have to see them on to know if I'd be able to pull them off. Are you feeling these?

For some reason I have not been able to get into the metalics. Not my thing I guess.
1I love Converse. I got my first pair in 6th grade and have been wearing Chucks for over 20 years now. But I do NOT like the sequins at all.

3Too blingy for me. But I don't mind Converses...I used to wear them ALL the time in junior high/high school. I have a light blue pair that I bought a few years ago and still wear sometimes too!

5I love metallic Converse. I like the black version of this pair better. It's subtler but still fun and kind of flashy.

16i saw the red ones and they are so cute. i love them, and i want them. chucks go with things when you need sneakers but don't want to look like you're wearing running shoes with your outfit. i wore chucks when we took really long treks around paris and nice in 2004, and i've worn them to disney too.

19urban outfitters had a pair and i didn't like them when i saw them on someone, but i like the converses better b/c they seem less sequiny. i just refuse to further indulge in the sequin trend.
20These are cool i dont think I cld pull them off but when I think sneakers I always imagine myself wearing black skinny cropped pants and a black close fitting top ....

22I hate these sequin ones but the metallic silver ones don't bother me. BUT I never wear converses though. I only wear sneakers when I run and those are adidas. I love Adidas!

34love these but i think with so much sparkle they look a lot better in smaller sizes and i`m 5`10 with size 10 feet so probably couldnt pull them off ... Also i dont find this kind of shoe comfy one bit!
35the sequins are a bit much - certainly not for day to day wear. but i think they would be really cute to wear as an informal yet dressy shoe to parties and so on.
i loved the metallic chuck taylor type sneak range that came out at gap (uk) a few months ago. i had the gun metal grey ones and they took me all through europe (seriously durable, even in the rain! probably because they were leather). i'm still kicking myself that i didn't buy the gold ones, too.

46... a bit late. But I love these. I had to buy a pair. They are amazing. With jeans they aren't too blingy. I get tooonnss of compliments. I'll just be hanging out with people, and they will (for some reason?) look at me feet and go "OMG!!! I LOVE YOUR SHOES!" My friend has tie-die converse, so the two of us together are like the converse girls.
