Sorry, but I just lost a wee bit of respect for Giuseppe, due to this Giuseppe Zanotti Architectural Wedge Sandal ($750). Because all his other footwear is so glam, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he had a momentary lapse in judgment. What do you say?

I think Zanotti has been getting too conceptual with footwear, making them unwearable. Give me a basic wedge any day.
i agree completely!
I might buy me a pair of them on eBay and turn them into a work of art myself.

Those are not made for humans.
Chop off that bottom portion and I would love it!
I agree with you artsugar! That shoe is way too conceptual.
By god, you could fit a whole other shoe in that cutout.
Yuck.
Hate, purely because I'm convinced shoes like that would cave in if someone wore them.
No way!.
not for me
i say hate it
I like the idea of experimenting with the concept of the heal, but these fail to hold any continuity between the top portion with the buckles and the outline of the wedge. Looking at them, it seems they might actually be flexible and cave a little so as to be a very comfortable shoe; still beauty before comfort, they don't work.
They are unusual and I would not wear them but I think on he runway they might look interesting.
Ugly, hate them.
Sorry, but I love them... just want them in a better colour than blah cream.
and I don't like all the thick buckles. I'd like a beter strap choice.
Terrible and not functional at all. I agree with the comments above.
Say hello to a broken ankle.
Fugly! and extremely dangerous! Hospital here I come!
Um yeah, a little extreme.
I hated..it's a very strange shoe...
I second the broken ankle verdict. Imagine going down stairs in those.
not for me, I agree that if the bottom piece were off then they might be interesting.
Not really digging them!
i love shoes that draw attention.
It would be cute without the wedge.
I love them! I don't think I would wear them, but like someone above said, I think they could look really interesting on the runway. I think they're quite original.
Haha I love them and actually saw them in gold/black on the website that I'm buying now lol:)
it looks so weird and unwearable!
something cries out "stripper" to me.
Hate; I have never been so scared of a shoe.
tacky and ugly.
I am in LOVE!!!!
They would be so cute as a regular wedge (have to bring then down an inch or two though) or, like others have said, cut the bottom off.
I love the buckles though . . .
Totally love them. Would never wear them...ok well...maybe. But they'd be fantastic as an art piece.
Zanotti IS indeed getting a little conceptual in his shoe lines, but I like this. I could totally see myself wearing this with some dark skinny jeans and a white button down woven and MAJOR accessories! It'd be cute!
I love this shoe in the way I love Dior Haute Couture shows. Totally unwearable, but really exotic and amazing to look at.
Ok...isn't the point of wearing shoes to be able to walk in them?? Just a question - Boo and hell to the nah!
I'd wear them after practicing how to walk in them lol
Love it simply for the fact that those are totally a short girl's dream.
beyond ugly
It would be really cute with that bottom part cut off!
umm... well, i'll just cut the buttom part, and make it perfect.
ridiculous
yeah I like them too but the wedge is too big...
