I love the Olsens! It is nice to see two young girls with their own original style.

I like MK's look but I think she should have put a bit more work into her hair and makeup - yikes! it kinds of ruins the effect.

The dress is weird and from the neck up MK looks AWFUL but the dress looks infinitely better on her.

The scarf is a no. It doesn't look good. Neither do the thick, black tights.

The sleeves on MK's look shorter. It looks better with bare legs.

I agree with hipmom!The olsens have sorta cool sense style,but their hair and makeup makes them look goulish.

I'm kind of surprised that at the time I'm leaving this comment MK is winning. She sort of looks like she was just pulled out of a lake. As for the dress, can't even really tell that they're the same design, probably lighting, but still.

I think Carrie looks cheesy because she is really pretty and normal looking...nothing "unique" or zany about her. But that's not an awful thing, just a little dorky she still looks beautiful, really flawless. Lol....MK pulled out of a lake....usually I would say MK looks better in something like this, but yeah, her hair and makeup and tweaked out look kind of ruin it!

Even if this dress had been replaced with Chanel haute couture, I don't think it would have looked very good on Mary-Kate. She looks bedraggled, like she'd been asleep in the very same makeup,outfit, and hairstyle all night. Carrie, however, is glowing and exciting. Plus, the reserved black of the dress adds an element of mystery, making sure she doesn't take that sparkle too far.

mk. it fits her better and the colors are better. carrie looks like she's wearing a sack. i noticed that her sleeves are way too long. also the colors are too dark and the bulky scarf, gloves, etc. make the dress look uglier than it really is.

Carrie Underwood always looks uber over-done to me.
Also, correct me if I'm completely off base here, but I thought that the dress MK is wearing was a vintage dress that she found, while Carrie's is MK's design based on the very same vintage dress. In which case, I would especially have to give props to MK for rocking something vintage and original, instead of just selecting a dress from a pretty popular line, a la Carrie.
