I don't like the ads at all, but Jennifer does usually make me swoon too, Fab! I've thought she was gorgeous since I saw Labrinth as a little girl!

the expression on her face is off or maybe i'm being nitpicky. and the body stance in the first looks a little off b/c of the placement of her head lol i know that sounds weird but i think there are little things that don't work in this ad. i think she has gorgeous eyes too btw

Fashion is for models, not for actresses, period. Why don't they stick to movies ? I would have loved to see Daria doing this ad, it would have turned out a lot better I'm sure.

If the ad aims to sell the clothes, this is not an effective ad. The clothes are ugly, the model looks awkward and looks "dumb"...i dunno, it's just weird looking

She normally looks cute, even more when she's wearing her man on her side, but these ads look scary! The balenciaga colection does nothing for me.. It's kinda scary! I've passed it along, and showed it to my friends and they pretty much have the same opinion. It's a no no!

The ad itself is just bad (for the above mentioned reasons). As for the clothes, I like the concept of the exaggerated structure, but I don't care for the way it's been executed at all.

I didn't even notice that she was so skinny in the photos--my eyes were sore from looking at those ugly sandal-boots things. But after reading everyone's comments, wow. I mean there is photoshopping to get rid of the "flaws" and then there is PHOTOSHOPPING where you take a beautiful actress and turn her into a freak. She also looks extremely uncomfortable...which is not the best look for a clothing ad.

Lala77, Daria shot an editorial for British Vogue's February 2008 issue and it looks 100% better. I think part of the problem is those boots looks ill fitting on Jennifer something a long legged model like Daria could pull off without difficulty.

I think she looks stunning. And I agree with you Fab, she is so gorgeous. I wouldn't wear it, and even if I wanted to I probably cound't (note the size of the waist). But I still think it's gorgeous.

I think Jennifer looks awkward and just plain hideous and in the second picture she looks like she's been cinched up so tight she's in pain, there's nothing remotely beautiful about her face in these pictures. Blech, blech, blech.

yeah, and on daria you can see her entire knee in those boots. they are swallowing up jennifer! of course they'd cover my entire knee too!
