At times, Charlize Theron plays it safe on the red carpet, but the 2005 Golden Globe Awards was definitely not one of those times. The Christian Dior strapless gown she wore was awe-inspiring. Two years later, it's still modern and fabulous. Just because Charlize paid thousands for her gown (well, she probably got it for free, but you know what I mean), doesn't mean you have to.

Jovani's Elegant Strapless Gown ($350) would look amazing as a maid-of-honor or black tie dress; basically any event where you must look your absolute best. The neckline is sweetheart, the iridescent hue is similar, and the bottom is mermaid-like, just like Dior's version. Make yourself the Charlize of your chi-chi event!

9that "look for less" dress isn't actually a bad choice to go with if you want something like what charlize is wearing, but i prefer the color on charlize's dress than the torquise one.
10The waist and point of flair on the look-for-less dress make a weird silhouette. I think that would be bad for a lot of women's figures (especially if you're not of model height). The reason Charlize's dress works is that it draws in at her knees.

18Wow Charlize KILLED it! She looked amazing. This woman is the most stylish woman in hollywood and she can literally make ANYTHING look good. And that dress fits her figure so well. She's not a toothpick like some people think. Shes' got a long feminime shape and an actual waistline.
