You can barely tell that Halle Berry is pregnant at the Palm Springs Film Festival Awards. For that, she owes thanks to Temperley London's Papillon Mini Dress ($1,625). It's a hefty price to pay for a dress you'll wear once, but not if you're a mega star. I take it she couldn't refuse the darling asymmetrical ruffle layer and the artsy knit yoke — top it off with a Rickard Shah clutch and you have Halle, the goddess.

I thought the dress looked a bit strange on Halle. A bit short for maternity wear....and i dont know how she can stand in those heels. Ouch!

That dress is really gorgeous (although I'd have picked a brighter/shinier makeup) - they should really stop picking tall skinny models, the dress looks really better on Halle Berry imo.

Papillion does mean 'butterfly' in French, but there is also a breed of dog called the Papillion, which could be due to their butterfly-shaped ears.

20Forever21's "couture" line, Twelve by Twelve, has a kindof similar dress. The top's embellished in a completely different way, (metal beads instead of the knit yoke,) but the overall shape's very similar, and it has a similar asymmetrical ruffle layer on the bottom, too. Here's the link:
