It looks like Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port may be too over the hill for Teen Vogue.
Last season of The Hills ended with LC and Whitney jetting off the Paris to help cover the Crillon Ball for Teen Vogue. The coverage is set to appear in the magazine's March 2008 issue, in which Whitney is listed as West Coast fashion contributor and LC as an intern, but
according to a spokeswoman, "The girls have moved on from Teen Vogue." No word on whether or not Teen Vogue will be part of The Hills next season, but it's likely that it won't be. (Pooh!)
What magazine do you think LC and Whitney should work with next?

Prada
Juicy Couture
Tommy Hilfiger
Vogue.....Have a cameo of Anna Wintour!!!
1For some reason, I feel like they never really did any real work, just brought Teen Vouge PR. I mean really, do you think those scenes with Lisa Love are real? Yeah, they should go to Vogue and get a little taste of the Devil Wears Prada...
2I think the show would be some much more interesting if they showed what Lauren and co. were really up to, like her fashion line and she was just on the cover of Shape magazine, plus it might be fun to see them deal with the paparazzi. The producers pushing love triangles and bad, fake relationships is so boring.
3People tend to get things in the world because of their connections, so there's no point in pretending that Lauren and her friends are "normal people." Show how she got the chance to create her line and how it was put together, maybe we can't all identify with that (I sure don't have an opportunity to create my own line or pose for magazines) but I think it would be much, much more interesting than watching her steam clothes and fight about Heidi and pretend to date/flirt/hook up with Brody.
of course those scences aren't real!!!
4VOGUE!
5Whitney has said in the past that one of the main reasons why she started this show was because she wanted the oppertunity for the job at Teen Vogue....
6I don't really care...I'm pretty over The Hills.
7geniegurl21, I agree- surely she spent hours and hours on her line, and we don't see any of it? I think that would give the show a new twist.
8Yawn. As if it's real anyway!
9whitney should work for vogue...LC should focus on improving her horrid half-a**ed clothing line
10I think that Whitney should go work for Elle magazine because the target age of Elle is the same as the target age for the Hills twenties and early thirties. Teen Vogue aim at teenagers that are not watching the hills. LC should work for a design house.
11I think they are over the magazine scene. Although, I'M NOT!!
12I don't think they're ready for Vogue...at least Lauren isn't ready. Plus Lauren's clothing line isn't that exciting and not Vogue worthy in my opinion.
13I actually think Lauren needs to work on her career as an actual designer because her taste is amazing but her designs are lackluster. And as for Whitney, I think she's Voge-worthy.
14it was all BS anyways....there are girls who would die for that job but will never get that opportunity...aka me. haha
15Eh.
The only reason I started to watch was that she was interning for Teen Vogue while going to school.
Now, there's no more appeal
16I think LC should definitely be in the fashion business, in one way or another... she's competent and feels at home with fashion, shows, etc. But I haven't seen anything spectacular in her designs yet - I think the minute she quits the show, her clothes will stop selling.
17i think they should retire and disappear. haha.
18Does anybody have a better picture of the dress Lauren is wearing? And who designed it?
19isnt whitney working for T magazine now?!
20lucky b*tch! hahaha
i love her though!
it's going to be seventeen, lc was on the cover
