What's "horrible and tacky and gross"? Last night's Project Runway challenge, according to Christian. The designers were asked to make prom dresses according to the specifications of some very opinionated high-school girls. I can't blame the girls: Who doesn't want to look good at prom?! Kevin was stuck in memories of his own Jersey prom, Rami twisted up a matronly frock, Ricky washed out his client, and Christian earned a berating from Nina Garcia herself. After all the mess that went down, could you confidently say you would put your prom dress's destiny in a PR designer's hands? If so, which one?

Oh my, poor Christian last night!!!!
That "little girl" Maddie who claimed to be a designer, jesus. I would of told her hush up and go eat a Twinkie!
1Not sure...I don't like these ones, that's for sure.
My prom was 12 years ago...such a distant memory!
2After seeing these designs - Hell no!
3Love the comment by aimeeb. she was annoying had horrible taste lace here, lace there and gold trimming.
4Hellz no!
5aimeeb--- yes! that is what I was thinking the ENTIRE episode. Christian worked with what Maddie wanted, bad taste! I was glad that judges recognized that girl was a bit tough to work with. And, Christian totally saved Victorya's design... and she won!
6creamytofu-lace and gold and so much more. That girl needed to have a muzzle put on her. Jesus...
artsugar it was if I wanted to crawl inside the TV and put her in a choke hold. Christian is my fav, with Kit as a close second.
I can't believe Ricky is still on there. I mean I like him but wow.
7I said it on BuzzSugar and I'll say it again, I cannot stand horrible Victoria and her fugly dresses and her nasty idea-thieving and back-biting.
Christian is the best, smartest designer, but his attitude last night was unacceptable.
I also don't think I could wear Christian's clothes. I thought Chris's dress was STUNNING and I want it!
8No way.
9I HATE VICTORIA TOO!
10From this season probably none of them but if Daniel V. was available I would be head over heels. I am determined to make him my personal designer one day some way, some how.
11I only like Sweet Pea's but not sure for a prom. Are short dresses in now? My proms were too long ago.
12Does anyone else think that Victorya's dress looks like a shorter and brighter version of Cameran Diaz's Emmy or Golden Globe dress?
There was one dress that was black and white or one or the other for some award show.
I hate Victorya's attitudes and eye rolling. And Rickey should've been gone the first episode. He needs a vallium or something to keep him from crying!
13Yeah I think short dresses fit more for homecoming and long dresses for prom.... and I would love for them to create my dress and if i don't like it I dont have to wear it to prom.... but if I loved it then YAY a free designer gown!!!
14Well, yea I guess I would have Christian do it, because I think he'd be able to make my dress the way I liked it. I had to buy my pieces last year and my senior prom. It was very chic though. ;].
That high school is right near my town. WOO YAY FOR JERSEY!
15I wouldn't mind at all. I loved Chris'dress.
16all the girls at my prom wore short dresses. they went for more trendy dresses than promy dresses. i personally think prom is overrated so i didn't want to wear a long dress
though i wasn't a huge fan of any of the dresses, i would definitely let a project runway designer make my prom dress. they're a talented group
17I thought Sweet P and Victoria's a lot. And I usually don't really like Christian (I don't really like his designs and I find him aggrivating), but his client was SUCH A B*TCH!!! She was so awful. Ugh.
18I hated this episode. Mainly because a great designer and an AWESOME! (Sorry, I'm a Kevin fan) designer were in the bottom two. They NEED a Project Runway all stars.
Also, I hated Cristian's girl. She seriously bugged me.
19Nope. Never went to prom, and if I could do it over again, I still wouldn't go.
20I felt bad for Christian, and I agree that prom is slightly horrible and tacky. I did go to mine, out of friend pressure, and it was no great memory. But I'd def get an outfit from really any of these designers. And it was a shame who went home.
21i wouldnt let them design my prom dress. not because i thought the dresses were bad.. but my prom dress was already beyond gorgeous.
all i want to know is why didnt ricky go home? hes only had one decent design so far. his dress made that poor girl look like a box, it was boring, and the color made her look washed out. it was definitely the worse. im so sick of him. he shouldve been aufed weeks ago.
22haha i find this extremely funny. I actually go to high school with all these girls and that girl maddie is a joke. This guy christian shouldnt even take it seriously at all. (I think maddie has mental problems though and thats why she flipped out on him) But everyone messes around with maddie in school too because she's so weird.
23Some of the dresses look pretty good! And age-appropriate too.
24Ugh, Christian's client drove me insane. I was also surprised by the short dresses-- everyone wore ball gowns to my prom, and that was only a few years ago.
25Karla, I love Chris's dress too! I would love to have a dress designed by Kit, Gillian, or Christian... I think a huge part of this challenge was having the girls' input!
26i wore vintage to my prom (20 years ago - gulp!). if i had some say in the look/color i would love to have a dress designed for me!
27Can you imagine what Christian's dress would have looked like if he listened to everything that girl had to say???
I think he did a great job with what he had to work with~
I LOVE KIT!!! I want her to make everything I wear!
28I don't like those. But I do love the pretty blue.
29I was all hating on Sweet Pea's dress earlier, but from this angle, it doesn't look so bad! Just... don't... move!
Chris's dress was the only one I liked a lot.
30I would say it depends on the designer because some of those designers are down right crazy! I mean I understand they have a vision but they won't have me looking all jacked up for my prom! If I liked their past work I would let them - who doesn't want a custom made dress and I know they get it for free! Once in a lifetime.
31I like Victorya and thought her dress was pretty. Loved that color with the jewel neckline and the red shoes make really pop. I didn't go to my prom either, but if I did I would totally let project runway make me a dress. A free dress? if it sucked, I'd just go buy a new one.
32i actually really liked Rami's dress. if he would have added some sparkle, or made it longer, it would have been better for prom, but it was very elegant and well-made, i thought.
and I am PISSED that christian didn't get the boot.
33Sweet P was robbed. Victorya's dress was not fun at all and I agree with Leahtron, Christian should have been gone!!
I will miss Kevin. I loved his work.
34Victorya's dress is FAR too dressed down for prom.
it looks like a dress that a girl would wear to a bar.
albeit, a bar on the swankier side but still; a bar.
as for Christian's client... who the HELL chooses brown for a prom dress? who the hell chooese brown for ANY dress ??
the thing with brown is you have to sprinkle it in gingerly so you don't look dowdy. she had a ruhtawded idea for a dress, a bad attitude, and was a difficult client. she basically loses at life.
and am I going crazy or what ?
does NO ONE else see these clothes that Sweet P is making??
she's horrible! she doesn't have any talent!
she manages to srape by every episode,
and I bet you one reason why they let her stay is because she has tattoos. I bet you five friggen dollars.
she has no natural eye for fashion, she doesn't know how to make anything besides a t-shirt. she doesn't know what she's doing!
and that's just what I think about these three.
35just had to rant!
