When it comes to the models — Agyness Deyn and Lily Donaldson — Burberry's Spring/Summer '08 ads are playing the same game as last Fall. But when it comes to color, it's a whole new world. Unlike the previous black and white ads, photographer Mario Testino shot the latest campaign in color. And what vibrant colors indeed! This reflects "a very colorful collection and a younger mood at Burberry," a spokesman for the brand said. Although black and white photography has its allure, I am loving this fresh side of Burberry. It's hot, hip, and makes me want to jump into the picture. Do you agree?

I love these ads. Saw the behind the scenes vid (on burberry.com) where Agyness is doing Jazz Hands. Hilarious stuff. She's such a cutie!!
1They're okay...
2The ads look nice, but Agyness is, I think, a poor choice. She's too androgynous to work the feminine side of this collection and just looks goofy.
3They're fabulous ads!
4I like the concept...but the clothes are unflattering and somehow even with a good concept it's not unique enough to be distinguished from other ads.
5I'm still a fan of the black and white ones.
6I don't love these.
7I love it
8Fab, i think they got your new year resolution message, WEAR MORE COLOR!!!!
9It just looks like any other designer ad now.
10and no colored people out of all these models? not working for me.
Good point Tullia.
I like the ads and Burberry's attempt at freshening things up, but I do feel like I've seen this ad somewhere before - United Colors of Benneton or Gap anyone?
11I didn't even notice it was Burberry. It's certainly a different side to this brand.
12Meh. The poses feel weird to me, very unnatural and fake. The white background is too Gap-y, also.
13i luv the mood of this ad, very dramatic! and Agyness Deyn looks great!
14i love them. there is a lot to look at, and i like how the color palette is set. i like new directions!
15I love them! If you've seen the British show skins, it reminds me a little of the first promo - minus the drink, drugs and teen partying.
16I love that they used the gorgeous Alex Pettyfer too, he's the one up front with blonde hair and grey suit.
i like it,it's different and fresh
17I Love Those Ads!
18Tullia beat me to the punch. Why so white? I love the colors of these clothes, but I don't understand why there aren't any people of color. Especially because it's a Brit brand, and London is a hugely diverse city!
19The clothes are all right I guess but both Agyness and Lily are not good choices. Agyness is too masculine to be able to pull off short hair with this dress and Lily... I always thought she looks like an ugly kid.
20Tulia & Bella, I agree. I liked the ads when I first saw them but I couldn't help thinking that with all those models taking part, they could have used a couple that weren't Caucasian.
21I noticed this again the other day when I was flicking through Vogue, where are the new Alek Weks and Naomi Campbells etc? I think it's way past the time we should be reflecting the diversity of our society in both the UK and US within fashion and advertising.
i love Agyness Deyn! These ads are cute, but a big change from the previous B & W.
22This is not at all what I was expecting from Burberry. And it is because it has color. I was sure their ads well be again black and white. I don't hate it but these are not my fave Burberry ads, and not because of the colors
I don't know everybody, looks
so dazed and confused.
23the ads are so hot and alive!
24Agyness Deyn also looks amazing.
the colours are fabulous anf so alive i loved them!
25Is Burberry going to make its famous plaid a different color too? I like the color, but I don't see what the big deal is with Agyness Deyn.
26Yay for color!
27I adore Burberry. I love everything they make (except anything with the nova check) These ads are great. They still to the burberry theme but are really colourful which is different for them. I love them.
28I love the color. I like that the models aren't so pose-y pose-y.
29I love it! Now if only I could afford it!lol.
30I could be wrong, but I think I'm not, that the second model in the ads is Sasha Pivarova, not Lily Donaldson.
31That's totally Lily Donaldson. Sasha does the Prada ads.
32I do not like burberry.
33They are fine, previous Burberry campaigns have been very 'British', for example before they used kids like Max Irons and Fenton Bailey, for me, they almost seemed to advertise a lifestyle not just the clothes. Which sort of characterised the brand.
But they seem to be diverting from this theme, and aiming at the 'young and trendy' crowd, this looks a little like an evening I spent out with the 'St Martins kids' in Mayfair.
I didn't recognise Alex Petyfer, he looks...gay/english/st martins kid? And a girl at the back looks like Peaches Geldof.
34Zexy boys equals Zexy ad!
