It's hard to find ones that are flattering, but I love them none the less....I live in northern Ontario, and we get a lot of snow. I love to cuddle up in a oversized, cozy sweater and relax.
i always feel dwarfed and awkward. being 5' 2"(almost...not quite), it's easy for things that are too large to dwarf me and really make me look tiny, which isn't always a bad thing, but huge
sweaters just always make me feel like i'm wearing my boy's clothing.
i like it on other girls though, and i see it and i want to wear them, but then they just don't work out for me.
My sweater rules...no turtlenecks (they make my neck nonexistant), no wool/wool blend (insanely itchy....even low grade cashmere is too itchy for me), and it can't be big and chunky. Makes me
look big and chunky.
I prefer thinner sweaters I can layer over/under. MUST be soft.
I love them but I always look frumpy when I wear chunky knits. If I were petite I'd wear them all the time but they just make me feel strange at my size.
My husband talked to me about this before we were married, told me to try it if i didnt believe him, i did, and its true. He told me that to most men sweaters were the sexiest thing a woman
can wear besides lingerie, but to stay away from thick knits, poorly fitting, and super hairy ones, a little short fuzz is good but not necessary. Also V and scoop necks are better than
turtlenecks but tnecks work with a "good" bust. I bought a few and just wore them with jeans. I got and still get considerably more attention from quality guys than when i wore my halters and
shorts. Dont believe me? try it.

Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
I wish I could wear them but those kinds of sweaters don't look very flattering on those of us who are, um, well-endowed up front.
1Very very true, whiplashgirlchild
2I love a big snuggly sweater on a cold day. but not an itchy one!
3Wish I had more chunky, cozy sweaters!
4Yes, but it has to look a certain way...
5I would be if I didn't live in Florida.
6I like it.

I love them with skinny jeans and tall boots!
10it's hard to find ones that aren't made of wool, which i'm insanely allergic to. boo.
11I like the idea in theory, but in reality, I prefer thin layers. I tend to overheat in thick woollies.
12They don't look good on me, and I don't really like feeling all bulky anyway. Cute on other people, but just not for me.
13I ahte itchy things! Like I can't STAND them! So I rarely wear sweaters...
14Amen WhiplashGirl.

15Yeah, I'm short, busty & allergic to wool. AND I can't wear turtlenecks without feeling claustrophobic. So I'm afraid it's layers for me!
16Yes! Wrap-style ones are my favorite.
I'm always cold. And I love the way they look layered over a pretty, feminine dress.
17Hell no. They are ugly.
