Even though Louis Vuitton is featuring supermodels in their Spring ad campaign, it looks like Chanel is having its own supermodel revival. Kate Moss chose to go Chanel-clad for her glam rock-themed 34th birthday party earlier this week, while Claudia Schiffer wears the same starry outfit in the fashion house's Spring ad campaign. Kate rocks the outfit in real life, while Claudia flaunts it for Karl Lagerfeld's lensed fantasy — which do you prefer?

I love Kate, but those shoes! Eh!
1Claudia's whimsical look is much better with the dress because it's so soft and flowing. Kate's shoes are hideous, and she just doesn't wear it well.
2Kate because she pulls off the outfit in real life without having to be airbrushed and posed. Kate is amazing. I do agree with liannecamille, though. Kate's shoe choice could of been better.

7Interesting. It doesn't look out of place in that BW fashion fantasy photo, but once you see it in real life, you realize it's ridiculous looking.

19i don't think it's fair b/c one is a posed, airbrushed pic and one is just a normal pic. i'm sure if kate was posing, she'd look good. plus kate wore something under the sheer dress so she kind of tweaked it. in claudia's pic, the dress is completely sheer but kate obviously couldn't wear it like that so she added a polka dot dress. she tweaked the dress so again not a fair comparison

21I thought Kate looked amazing. She had her hair done beautifully and added some shimmer and sparkle for make-up — completing a total whimsical look.
22I like Claudia. Kate's makeup and hair are horrendous and really takes away from the dresses look.

30Claudia looks better. This dress looks like a vacation type dress on an island. Kate is stomping across the pavement and it looks out of place.

32I looks better in the ad because its black and white and the background is simple as is Claudia's makeup. Also she probably did a lot of shots out of which they chose this one where the garment looks flowy and heavenly.
33But in reality it just makes whoever wears it look like they're on the way to the Yule Ball in Harry Potter 4.

35As far as Kate's outfit, she didn't "tweak" anything...she's wearing the jumpsuit and coat/dress as it was worn on the runway. She added a pair of hideous shoes and eye make-up.
Personally I'm not a fan of the look but I think Claudia looks better...but that could be because they removed the jumpsuit portion for the shoot.

37As for Kate Moss, she had herself to it. She made it a Kate Moss. She puts her own twist on everything so I guess I give her some creative points, c'mon man it was her birthday she can do what ever she wants. At least she wasn't wearing that disgusting fur coat again.
