Ombre is beginning to rear its pretty head and while it feels very warm-weathery, I'm already seeking a new ombre addition. I'm still on the fence though — some of these items are dope, while some of them are dull. Here's the dilemma: It's a trendy motif, but only looks good on fine fabrics. Case in point: ombred fur at J. Mendel's Spring '08 show (pictured). Thus, one should seek out an ombre that looks expensive but doesn't break the bank. Ah, the trials and tribulations of fashion . . .

I like it on some things...it can be really cute or really hideous.
I love the voile dress it is so fresh and light! Perfect for summer!
I hate this, reminds me of the 70's.
Oh the last dress is so FABULOUS
they are pretty, but i just can't wear ombre. it scares me or something.
I got an ombre sweater from H&M which was far from expensive but still looks great so I don't think it has to look expensive. I actually think the fur looks really bad.
me loves the bagdley mischka
I really love them.
Ombre is iffy. I agree that it depends on the piece. Some of it looks great and some of it just looks awful.
ombre = \m/
I'm not a fan of ombre at all. Maybe I just haven't found an item I like with it yet.
the only ombre i can tolerate is the Prada coats and bags. in patent leather.
oh yea, the last dress is tres gorgeous.

Ombre means shadow. In French we say " dégradé". Weird.
