Karl has interpreted an arctic freeze and only he could make frigid fashion look so desirable. With an icy palette of gray, black, and white, there was plenty of detailing and tailoring to keep the eyes happy. Some of the sophisticated and ultra-chic ensembles actually made me shiver — this mini-fied black and white suit for one.
Tiered ruffles and volumes were modern maneuvers, creating a slight Chanel cupcake aesthetic. Plumage and beading was a slight nod to Armani, but don't get me wrong: Karl does this very well, too. All towering over covetable ballet flats, this couture collection was sweet, but ultimately fierce.
P.S. Get a load of the massive iceberg of a classic Chanel jacket.
