It's cool when designers branch out into other fashion categories — like sunglasses and swimwear — but when a designer breaks the mold and translates his or her vision to another category all together, now that's cool. Though it's not my favorite water, Evian has teamed up with French designer Christian Lacroix to create two special water bottles — rumored to make an appearance at New York Fashion Week. There's couture inspired (left) and pret-a-porter (right). That there in the middle is an inspirational image from his Spring couture collection, that, well, reminded me of water. While I dig the sculpture-esque look of the couture bottle, I feel compelled to serve the pret-a-porter bottle at my next cocktail party. How Fab would that be? Beyond . . .
Speaking of designers and liquids, Perrier and Paul & Joe have become packaging buddies. What a cool trend this is!

3the one on the right might be good for flower vase. too bad they don't come smaller, perfect for a bud vase (like Orangina).

10Ooh! I just saw this in Paris four days ago!! Yes glass, looked pretty, but had an Evian logo on it which I didn't like so much. I saw the white and the black patterend bottles. Without the logo it would have made a great vase, and I favoured the white one.

18I've seen the pret-a-porter one in my local grocery store here in Dubai and it is even more gorgeous up close and personal. I agree with Fab, a cocktail party would be the perfect place to use it!

22I have them for sale on ebay! Or you can email me directly at pontalexander@hotmail.com They really are pretty. The design is painted on, not a plastic label. I drank one and now have the bottle sitting on the window sill in my den, it looks nice.
The silver "haute couture" one is going to be auctioned off for charity, they only made 99 of them.
