in high school, i remember a day when my history teacher was talking about how when she went to school girls wore skirts and boys wore khakis, and now everyone wore jeans and a tee or
sweatshirt, and going around the room it was true. then she looked at me and said "except you."
people used to freak, and still do, when i wear jeans. i've began to wear them more lately, but a lot of my friends will introduce or describe me as "their friend katherine who doesn't wear
pants"
I love skirts and dresses. I refused to wear pants until elementary school because waiting for the bus was always too cold in my dresses. Now I mostly wear pants, I like them, they're very
versatile.
I get sooo borreeeddd wearing jeans all the time in the winter. I clearly need some more tights and leggings and winter-y skirts and dresses. Maybe some boots too...shopping anyone?!
Haha, kitkatherine, that totally sounds like me! I own one pair of jeans and one pair of grubby cords for doing things like moving. I feel weird and unlike myself in pants, although I am really digging the
side legs I'm seeing these days. I wore mens tweed trousers occasionally in high school with super femme blousesbecause I loved the juxtoposition. Dresses and skirts completely rule my closet
though. As for wearing them in the winter, well that's what they make those gorgeous wool tights for, and there's no better way to show off the wide variety of stunning, sexy (and
surprisingly warm!) boots available. Even in Alaska, where lately the weather is sitting around -5, I wear skirts.

Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
i have wide hips so I look way better in skirts and dresses
1Just more comfortable in pants. I can run away faster when a date goes bad.
2Skirts and dresses are just insanely comfortable. It's like getting away with wearing your nightgown in public.
3Pants; I love dark wash jeans or a nice black pants. I have to be in a certain mood to wear a skirt or dress, lol.
4Definitely pants.
5I prefer skirts and dresses. They are very comfortable and they always look good on me.

Pants all the way, so much more versatile.
9I have skinny calves so I tend to wear pants. I feel like you should wear heels with skirts. At 5'10" I a;ways feel way too tall in heels.
10It depends on the weather. Oh god, I sound so old/practical. Terrible!
11Pants in the winter (because it's SO cold!)
12And skirts and dresses in the summer! I love being in touch with my girlie side!
