I love how Lanvin has been rolling out these cartoon drawings lately — they're really cute — and the latest edition is this Lanvin Papillote Shopper ($925). But I never thought I'd see such an expensive canvas grocery tote. Would you go for it?

29it's a cute bag...i would buy it for like 20-30 bucks (because that's how much a canvas tote should be) but not 925. That's ridiculous. You might as well go for Gucci or Louis Vuitton

44It is adorable. But honestly, I have organic cotton canvas at home, and black ribbon, and I know damn well that even with my limited, growing knowledge of sewing, that would only take me maybe 2 hours to make tops! Seriously, who pays that price??? I mean, that's almost a mortgage payment on a canvas shopping bag!!??!!!
