I don't normally love lavender, but I think Allison Janney stands out in her halter Pamella Roland dress because there's not a lot of color on the carpet tonight. I like how her makeup subtly matches her frock. You with me?

8it kind of looks cheap. Like a really bad jersey knit that you could probably get from the body shop. The fabric just looks really cheap. You can see through the dress!
9I absolutely adore Allison Janney! She was so brilliant in The West Wing, and fabulous in Juno too! She looks lovely, not too overdone (I really hate the whole Jennifer "over the top" Lopez type look) and definitely age-appropriate.
