I decided to give my old school belt another go today. To make it the focal point, I cinched it over a long turtleneck and (purposely) wrinkled silk shorts. Fleece-lined leggings and my favorite pair of black boots complete the look.

If you think about it, Penelope has a laid-back glamor. Sure, she goes glamazon on the red carpet, but for her day-to-day style, she lives in jeans and cool classics. She attended a lunch honoring her performance in Nine at LA's L'Ermitage hotel in Winter white and denim. Her Chanel tweed jacket is timeless but completely unstuffy because of her shoe-covering bootcut jeans. She kept everything else simple; with that gorgeous hair and face, not much else applies.

On
Project Runway last night, the designers were taken out of the city and onto the farm, where they found their models, standing in mud, wearing potato sacks. The challenge? To make a fashion-forward look out of burlap sacks. Only this time, the models served as clients and got to choose their designers. Once they returned to the city, the genius work began. I was highly impressed by most of the looks. It is
not easy to make burlap look expensive, but many succeeded, especially winner Jay Nicolas! Click through to see all the outfits, then tell me which you loved and hated.

If you don't know Ann-Sofie Johansson by name, you definitely know her by talent. She's the creative director of H&M, which means all the affordable goodies you love have been designed and approved by her. Fun job, right? As the head designer of H&M, you know this lady has style and taste galore. Here are some of her favorite pieces from the
Spring '10 collection. Wooden bangles, fringed necklaces, and embellished tees are just a few of her crushes.
