When Jennifer Garner isn't on mommie duty, she steps out on the red carpet with guns blazing! The actress celebrated her role at the Valentine's Day premiere in LA emoting major hotness in a lace and leather dress by Valentino. The nude slices and beaded embellishments inject an amazing modern touch. Black platform pumps by Brian Atwood and a silver cluster ring top off her undeniably amazing look.

What do you get when you give a talented French designer and a fly songstress some fabric and a cause? FFAWN + Catherine Malandrino, a fierce "t-luxe" collection benefiting the Foundation For the Achievement of Women Now, a charity started by Blige in '08. The line, which starts at $39, hits Bloomingdale's next week and is all about empowering women with messages like "I'm Free" and "I'm Power."
So how did the duo join forces? "Catherine has been a dear friend of mine for years and, after she learned about FFAWN and our mission, she offered to create a T-shirt collection that would celebrate being women, being strong and being free," Blige said. Great friends, doing great things.
We all recognize the color red, but can we pinpoint all of red's cousins? The family is actually quite huge — fire engine red, rose, scarlet, persimmon, they're all considered shades of red. Here's something to get your Valentine's Day juices flowing. Even if you're no red guru, you will be after this. Have fun!
Question 1 of 10
Can you guess what this shade of red is called?
Louise Roe predicts Fall 2010’s top trends will fall into two categories: feminine or futuristic. In one camp, designers like Zac Posen, Carolina Herrera, and Monique Lhuillier are taking cues from old Hollywood silhouettes as seen on the red carpet. In the other camp, fashion-forward thinkers Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, Yigal Azrouël, and Project Runway winners Christian Siriano and Irina Shabayeva are taking a more avant-garde, Avatar-inspired take on what’s to come. Hear all about it.

As you know, I've been experimenting with all-black outfits. I'd like to continue the theme while I'm at New York Fashion Week. Can you help me put together a head-to-toe black outfit that can transition smoothly from day to night? It's fine to throw in some gold and silver jewels, but stick to mostly black please. Remember, it's cold in NYC right now, so layer me up. I'll start you off with this Eugenia Kim Chunky Braided Scarf ($94, originally $188); I'll throw it on when I'm feeling the chill.
