A belt can tie together a whole look. Case in point: community member RuedeMoi's outfit of chic separates. She cleverly concealed where her black blouse-y top got tucked into her beige midi skirt with a black-and-gold studded belt, which gave her look added definition at the waist. An outfit's nothing without a pop of color, and her rounded-toe heels in a red floral print added the perfect chromatic burst while keeping the overall tone of her belted ensemble feminine and sophisticated.

In a perfect example of how the sum can be greater than its parts, her add-ons — a simple blue Michael Stars tee, gray skinny jeans (which she cuffed widely at the bottom), white cutout pumps, and a black crossbody bag — played up the jacket beautifully.
