She's a mother, an author, and an award-winning actress — and now she's People magazine's Most Beautiful Woman. Whether you've been poring over Gwyneth's seriously chic shoes for years or you're a Paltrow rookie, join us as we celebrate her big day with a look back at her 58 most enviable heels ever.
The piece: Massimo Dutti Blue Velvet Slippers
The price: $135
Why we want them: We've been fans of Massimo Dutti for a while now, thanks to its affordable, modern take on the classics. When we spotted these slippers, we knew we had to have them. Suede and supple leather means they're just as comfy as your house shoes, but with a go-with-everything navy hue and a totally polished vibe, you'd better make plans, because these slippers weren't made for sitting at home.
Roland Mouret cited contradiction as the guiding principle of his Spring 2014 collection, which manifested in a sportier side to his normally elegant tailoring. Bold colors ruled the runway with crop tops, cutouts, and sheer insets revealing plenty of skin in second-skin dresses and relaxed trousers. Evening brought out a more sensual side with high sheen mixing with printed chiffon in red carpet-ready dresses. Looks like contradicting himself suits Mr. Mouret.

Olivia Palermo has arrived in Paris! And you can shop her dress right now. The front-row fixture kicked off Paris Fashion Week with the Carven Spring 2014 show, where she turned up in a muted plaid dress with zipper detailing by Zara. She styled the long sleeved dress with a dark green clutch, gray suede boots, and oversize sunglasses to finish off an autumnal ensemble. Yep, she continues her reign as street style queen.

Is fashion trash? For Lanvin's Spring 2014 collection, Alber Elbaz created a series of cocktail dresses and pieces for day, many of which were rendered in shiny or iridescent fabrics. But some of the looks came down the runway with bags that looked like, well, trash bags.
What statement this designer was trying to make with those bags is anyone's guess — after all, this is the designer who last season made necklaces and bags featuring the word "Cool," because he "hates that word."
The clothes, however, were truly lovely. Lamé dreses in jewel tones from gold to pink glittered down the runway, and soft silks in coordinating hues grounded those looks and kept the sheen from being too bright.
During her coffee run in LA, Kate Beckinsale ditched her favorite denim and stuck to comfy black leggings. But it's not her leggings we're so interested in — it's her key accessories that took the ensemble to cool heights. Kate kept it basic in a white tee and a black boyfriend blazer; but without her panama hat, black loafers, and oversize sunglasses, it would have been just another black-and-white outfit. Next time you make a coffee run, think of Kate and re-create her look by shopping similar pieces below.
