Sarah Hyland knows a thing or two about fashion after playing stylish teen Haley Dunphy on Modern Family for the past four seasons, and now she's sharing her style wisdom with the masses. We chatted with Sarah at Op's Indoor Pool Party in NYC to talk about what she'll be wearing to the beach this Summer as well as what's on the horizon for Haley as the show's latest season comes to a close. Check out our interview and sneak a peek at Sarah's campaign for Op, which is available at Walmart, with Ashley Tisdale.
Katharine McPhee spent a night out in NYC looking equally slick and chic, thanks to her black leather jacket and silky orange trousers. She completed her outfit with a simple black tee, spiked Christian Louboutin pumps, a black Chanel bag, and a few silver baubles, including a chunky watch, long necklace, and stacked rings. We were instantly drawn to this look because it satiates both an edgy and feminine styling aesthetic. Up top and on her feet, it was all about a tough feel, while in between, Katharine's silky pants provided a dash of girlie flair. So the next time you step out after dark, look to McPhee by matching up your edgier pieces (a leather jacket is a must) with flowy trousers. Don't own a pair? Clockwise left to right: AllSaints Martell Biker Jacket ($588), T by Alexander Wang Tee ($89, originally $126), Demitasse Demibullet Necklace ($73), Forever 21 Quilted Chain Strap Shoulder Bag ($25), Rebecca Minkoff Heart Stack Ring ($78), Christian Louboutin Fifi Spikes Red Sole Pump ($1,195), Nixon The Kensington Watch ($125), Emporio Armani Loose Trousers ($286)
Stella McCartney was made an officer of the Order of the British Empire today. The London-based designer received this top honor and was pinned by Queen Elizabeth II herself. For the occasion, she tested out what is already emerging as one of Fall's big trends: the skirt suit. Wearing her own cinched navy design, she made her way to Buckingham Palace for the ceremony. Watch on to hear all about it! On Allison McNamara: Alice + Olivia dress, Vita Fede bracelets, Jennifer Fisher rings.
With the official launch of the Kate Spade Saturday online store, we're that much closer to making our dream of living every day like it's Saturday a reality. The new wide-ranging line is defined by bright colors, graphic shapes, and bold prints — well, that and the pieces also retail for about half as much as the Kate Spade New York collection. Even better yet, this isn't a diffusion line or a one-off kind of thing. The Saturday vertical, while totally separate from the Kate Spade entity, will maintain the flagship brand's signature bright and bold MO. Think vibrantly hued bags with a utilitarian slant, fun print dresses, cute ankle-strap sandals, retro-framed sunglasses, and a PF Flyers collaboration. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley makes the switch to Spring an effortless one in a breezy white blouse and Isabel Marant printed pants. It's not just the statement-worthy bottoms we love; this combo makes transitioning from day to night seamless and ultrasophisticated. Her silhouettes are laid-back enough for any daytime routine (yes, even running errands), while her luxe Saint Laurent duffel and a pair of nude sandals elevate the outfit so it's also a viable option for any evening out. And, while we may need an extra layer to fight the chill in the Northeast, Rosie's ensemble would look just as chic with a blazer or anorak thrown over top. But if you're lucky enough to call a warmer climate home, you need little else but the essentials below to channel her latest bit of street style.
