A striking palette, delivered with Alberta Ferretti's feminine touch, makes for a Fall 2013 collection that's both a little punchy, and at its core, absolutely lovely. Ferretti's signature handiwork is all at play here — the intricacies that make her gowns truly about the details — like the sheer, embellished bodices, beaded waists and necklines, and ruffled hemlines. There are a few sharper looks in the mix — black-and-white paneled gowns that feel more modern than the rest — ones we hope to see on the likes of British beauty Michelle Dockery; but mostly the lineup hints more at vintage-feeling glamour, with evening gowns better-suited for her Downton Abbey alter ego.

The 2013 Brit Awards (the British equivalent to the Grammy Awards) have kicked off in London, and Taylor Swift was one of the first to arrive in style, wearing a sheer black Elie Saab gown. While we love seeing the singer in her signature sequins, we couldn't be more thrilled that she went with something a bit more sleek and sexy this time. Step inside to get a closer look at Taylor's full ensemble and to find out what other stars like Rita Ora, Gemma Arterton, and Lana Del Rey picked for tonight's festivities. Then check back with us for way more Brit Awards red-carpet arrivals.
Pardon the Fashion Week interruption, but the shots of Miranda Kerr for Victoria's Secret's bridal lingerie collection have us wondering (yet again) just how does she do it? The flawless supermodel plays the part of blushing bride for the retailer's intimates collection — and could make just about anyone want a piece of bridal lingerie. Sure, some of this set would be hard to spin as just some sexy underthings, like the "I do"-embellished tank and matching "bride"-emblazoned panties, but the lace-trimmed shorts, camisole, and bra (minus the veils and fascinators), and the striped satin pj's would be just as pretty in any girl's underwear drawer — regardless of relationship status. Not convinced? Click through to see every gorgeous look right here, then head over to Victoria's Secret to shop your favorites.
The road to the Oscars is paved with many star-studded Vanity Fair parties, and while Monday night's event supplied the flirty cocktail dresses, yesterday's "Girl Rising" party delivered a cool contrast in light vs. dark styling. Freida Pinto stepped out in a blue, gray, and cream patchwork-infused, mesh-detailed Antonio Berardi dress from the designer's Spring '13 collection, and finished the look off with pewter Roger Vivier ankle-strap sandals. Meanwhile, Chloë Moretz chose a Christian Dior Pre-Fall '13 black fit-and-flare number that offered up a chic take on ladylike dressing — and played to a much darker kind of nighttime glamour. She kept her hair down, wore a smoky eye, and completed it all with nude pointy-toe pumps. Both ladies did right by their evening fare, so now it comes down to who you think did it best. Weigh in below!
Rihanna turns 25 today, and to celebrate the singer's birthday, we've rounded up 16 of her most memorable red-carpet looks thus far. She's certainly taken a no-holds-barred policy when it comes to dressing, so let's just say, we've come to expect the unexpected — from the most glamorous renditions to the downright skin-baring sex appeal. Among her standout looks? Last year's formfitting reptilian Tom Ford number at the Met Gala and a daring white Adam Selman gown at the LA premiere of her film, Battleship. Most recently, she stunned at the Grammys in a custom red floor-skimming Azzedine Alaïa gown. Click through to see them all now.
With just a few short days until the 2013 Oscars, stars like Julianne Moore, Drew Barrymore, Kirsten Dunst and Naomi Watts are already out in full force for the award-show preparties, like last night's Bulgari fete, which celebrated the jewels of Elizabeth Taylor. The Hollywood set made their style mark at the LA soiree looking nothing short of impeccable on the red carpet. Brand ambassador Moore made a head-turning appearance wearing a red Alexander McQueen paired with nude ankle-strap pumps and a stunning Bulgari emerald necklace from the Elizabeth Taylor collection. Dunst opted for a one-shouldered black gown from Chloé's Pre-Fall 2013 collection, and Watts also went all black in an understated sheath, Theyskens' Theory jacket, and Rupert Sanderson suede pumps. Meanwhile, Barrymore opted for an elegant silk jumper by Max Mara, while Marisa Tomei donned chic embellished separates. There's more where that came from; see all the celebrity looks from last night's festivities now.
