The easiest way to perk up your look? Today's fashion tip is incredibly easy: put a cap on it. We first started seeing sporty hats last year, and from the looks of these polished street stylers below, the trend is still going strong. Not only will this trend add a tomboy tilt to any look, it's the perfect remedy for bad Winter hair days. Try pairing a sleek leather rendition with a floral or printed dress for a fun play on ladylike-meets-sporty, or style a bright baseball cap with boyfriend jeans, a slouched tee, and oxfords for an effortless, off-duty look. Any way you spin it, it's a no-brainer in our style books. Shop our editors' picks below to add an instant pop of cool to your cold-weather getup now.
The Juicy Couture Fall 2013 presentation supplied us with its signature brand of breezy, bright LA cool-girl pieces, but this time around, it also took a strong stance on bold prints. From mod-inspired Hawaiian florals and psychedelic purple flower clusters to one head-to-toe leopard look, no print was too vibrant or too dynamic. For the styler who doesn't shy away from an extra dose of textural intrigue, see the best (and boldest) Juicy Couture Fall 2013 prints right this way.

The amfAR New York Gala isn't just a haven for stunning celebrity red-carpet looks; it's also for a good cause. The annual event has become one of the city's most successful and high-profile AIDS benefits, saluting some of the biggest names in entertainment, fashion, and art. Lucky for us, it never fails to bring out a slew of stylish do-gooders — and tonight's event did not disappoint.
It was a black-and-white kind of night for heavy-hitters like Heidi Klum and Karlie Kloss (both clad in Michael Kors), Hilary Rhoda, and Chrissy Teigen, who all donned dresses in the graphic color palette. Sarah Jessica Parker went with a bright pink strapless sheath from Maison Martin Margiela, while Crystal Renn went for full-on glamour in a striking red gown. Rachel Comey's Fall '13 runway show highlighted gorgeous leather separates, cozy shearling, and polished prints — exactly what we'd like to add to our wardrobe right now. Honing in on her penchant for whimsical yet chic silhouettes, Comey offered up an array of textural Winter components: buttery soft leather separates — ranging from a structured leather top dipped in a rich caramel hue to a folded, knee-length skirt — and lots of shearling-embellished outerwear. The latter was showcased in a stunning, oversize deep orange biker coat with chocolate brown trim. Comey supplies her fans with new and playful prints every time, and this season, the designer utilized an assortment of metallic cheetah, bold florals, and galactic patterns across an array of sleek fitted dresses and smart separates. Check out the top 10 moments from her Fall '13 collection right now in the slideshow.
On her way into her Santa Monica office, Jessica Alba showed off a casual look that was a happy marriage between sporty and chic — a mix we've been trying to master ever since sneakers became acceptable outside of the gym. The actress kept her style sophisticated thanks to these green houndstooth jeans by Big Star ($106), then pulled in laid-back flair with her black high-top Isabel Marant sneakers. Jessica completed her outfit with a two-toned Gerard Darel coat and two bags: an envelope-style crossbody and a black perforated satchel. Score Jessica's exact houndstooth jeans to work with high-top sneakers (just like she did) or pair them with a silky blouse and pumps for a work-appropriate spin. For a night out, we'd match these printed jeans with a leather tee and killer heels.
Now that Punxsutawney Phil has predicted an early Spring, we can start getting excited for all the lovely pastel hues that come along with the sunny season. Besides being a beneficial sleep aid, antiseptic, and stress reliever, lavender is also a lovely, feminine hue that has the power to look gorgeous on nearly everyone. We saw the pretty purple shade on the runways at Chloé, Nina Ricci, Christian Dior, and more, and now, just ahead of the early Spring, we've rounded up 12 of our favorite pieces that are begging to be added to your warm-weather wardrobe.
