Fashion Week chaos has yet to commence, but the style world hasn't slowed down in the days leading up to it, thanks to the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Everybody from Jennifer Lawrence to Anne Hathaway to Amanda Seyfried showed off their excellence in red-carpet glamour — and we've got every dress, shoe, and jewel worn by your favorite stars. Besides covering the gowns that were worn straight off the runway, we celebrated British Fashion Council/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Nicholas Kirkwood with his chicest shoe designs, and predicted the season's hottest trend (hint: look to your checkerboard). Catch up on all of this, plus a special birthday wish for our favorite suit-and-tie-wearing singer, in this week's Fab Recap!
What do actresses Jessica Chastain and Emma Roberts and model Irina Shayk all have in common? Well, you're looking at it. They were all recently spotted toting around stunning green-hued bags, which called major attention to their respective off-duty looks, too. Jessica sported her Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily purse with a black coat and black-and-white boots in NYC; Irina, clad in a black Winter coat, also carried her statement green zip-detailed tote; and Emma showed off her green-studded Marni bag, which complemented her brown shearling leather jacket and bright fuchsia scarf perfectly. Any punchy bag has the power to change an outfit, but we'd say emerald green is the one to add to your shopping list because it's 2013's Pantone color of the year. Score similar green bags we're loving below.

The 44th annual NAACP Image Awards attracted some of the most stunning starlets on the red carpet tonight — and we couldn't take our eyes off any of their looks. Kerry Washington made quite an entrance in her pastel Oscar de la Renta gown, Jimmy Choo pumps, and matching pink Kotur clutch, Freida Pinto opted for a rich emerald-green one-shouldered James Ferreira dress, Halle Berry knocked it out of the park in a two-toned Vivienne Westwood bustier number and Brian Atwood sandals, and Garcelle Beauvais lit up the room in a hot-pink strapless mermaid gown. It looks like Kerry, Freida, and Garcelle were all feeling colorful for tonight's festivities, while Halle was in the mood for something darker. Check out these four famous beauties from head to toe, and then tell us, which deserves the title of best dressed at the NAACP Image Awards?
Fashion Week — more specifically, Fashion Month — kicks off today in New York. From there, it's on to London, then Milan, and then onto la grand finale in Paris. While we hit up our favorite collections and wait to witness some serious star-studded style, we want you to check out the famous front row (and beyond) of last season's best in show. Herein, find 60 of our favorite (read: most eye-catching) celebrity looks from Spring 2013. To start, Solange Knowles did right by mixing funky prints, Alexa Chung also fused patterns — polka-dots with leopard — for a sweet-cum-sassy pairing, and Kristen Stewart hit Paris in a bold Balenciaga getup, complete with printed pants and a yellow leather jacket. See the rest of our A-list picks right here, right this way.
Polka dots have been around for ages, but some of our most-loved chic celebs have (literally) been spotted in the supercute print — and make such a great case for polka dots that you'll be feeling the itch to buy them before this story is even finished. Kristen Bell and Emma Roberts showed how just one polka-dot piece can turn a look from humdrum to high fashion in a snap, and Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, and Diane Kruger proved that cutesy polka dots can easily go from day to night (and look quite sophisticated, too).
