White Elephant, Yankee Swap, Dirty Santa — call it what you will, but the one thing that faithfully remains constant? The task of trying to find a cute, cheap gift that everybody will love. Thankfully, that's where we come in. Not only will all of these baubles, wares, and accessories elicit glances of envy from other swappers — and maybe even a few chuckles — but they all ring in under $15. It's time to start swapping.
Not to brag, but we here at POPSUGAR Fashion know a thing or two about gifting. As diligent market editors, we've spent many late nights poring over the latest seasonal merchandise, visiting showrooms, and leafing through lookbooks, and we've curated shopping guides for everyone on your list — whether it's the men in your life, the moms, or even the furriest of friends.
But what about us? We've seen it all and we tend to think you might get a few ideas from sneaking a peek at what's on our wish list this year. After uncovering everything from budget-friendly box clutches under $25 to the accessories of our ultimate fantasies, we're sharing our holiday favorites at every price — along with a few gift-giving memories of our own.
Every week, we bring you the best shoppable fashion and lifestyle stories from the editors at InStyle.com, including this celebrity-inspired clutch roundup.
No holiday outfit is complete without the perfect clutch. As an accessory that functions as a hold-all for your essentials, a clutch plays a pivotal role on dressy nights out. What more, it's a noncommittal way to try out trends without actually wearing them. That's why we took inspiration from clutches gripped at the hip of celebrities on the red carpet and rounded up the top seven types in varying shapes, sizes, and materials. Accent a minimalist shift, like Charlize Theron's, with a graphic black-and-white pattern, or copy Michelle Dockery and break up monochromaticism with a glamorous wave of jewels. From boxed minaudieres to edgy Winter white detailing, shop each trend to find your next holiday clutch.
The piece: American Eagle "Totes Amaze" Sweater
The price: $50
Why we want it: Sometimes you want your clothing to telegraph the message that you are to be taken very seriously, like when asking for a promotion or meeting your boyfriend's parents for the first time. Other times, you really just want to be thought of as fun. Enter this sweater, which cracked me up when I saw it a few months ago at the American Eagle preview. I'm still chuckling at it, and that's a good thing. And it's a nice break from my constant parade of animal sweaters. Bonus points for having a pop of POPSUGAR pink.

At its best, shopping for others can be a cinch, but at its worst . . . "difficult" doesn't even begin to describe it. Whether it's a sister who prefers the girlier things in life, a best friend who relates to anything hippie, or a work friend who'd rather be, well, working out, we have something sure to please them all, within.

By now you know Coach for its classic leather goods and bags (and likely count one or two in your own stable), but are you aware that the brand's clothing offerings kind of, well, rock? From practical outerwear to cozy sweaters, the brand has covered quite the gamut. And before you buy, take a look at the styled Winter looks on the brand's site — including one that looks pretty similar to something we spotted on Karlie Kloss earlier. Expect ideas perfect for work or a cocktail shindig. We're sharing some of our favorites here.
Another day at the Marrakech Film Festival, another Dior look by attendee Marion Cotillard. But while her past looks have been polished couture cocktail dresses and spotted silk gowns, her most recent look is decidedly more relaxed . . . and decidedly, well, more. This striped Dior Haute Couture ensemble is composed of two dresses layered on top of each other — but do you think that the look succeeds in creating a polished yet casual red carpet outfit for Marion? Or are the stripes too much? You decide, right here.
