Zara's latest and aptly named "In the Evening" lookbook isn't just a glimpse of what's new — it's a lesson in holiday dressing strategy. In it you'll find not more than a handful of pieces, few colors, and just a hint of shine, but page after page of the newest looks never get tired. If you subscribe to the more minimalist holiday dress code, this is clearly for you.
But even if you're typically the bells and whistles type, it's hard to resist the more subtle allure of a sheer crop top, a smattering of cool sequins, and yes, even jeans. Suffice it to say, this is exactly what we want to look like at all of our holiday soirees. You too? Just click through for more outfit ideas — and plenty to shop!
Some stars wear black and white, and others stick to black or white, as we learned at last night's Gotham Independent Film Awards. Rashida Jones, Lupita Nyong'o, and Shailene Woodley picked their sides in the battle, and the lines were clearly drawn.
Rashida went stark in Proenza Schouler's viscose black crepe dress, while Lupita was the most ladylike of the crew in head-to-toe Lanvin, namely the label's grosgrain bowed strapless white dress. Landing somewhere in the middle, Shailene mixed things up with a combination of the two in Calvin Klein Collection's textural halter dress. Which dress is your palette of choice?

Black dresses aside, Kelly Rowland and Allison Williams couldn't have looked more different last night at the Winter Ball for Autism in New York City. Kelly made her first appearance since her engagement in a curve-hugging number with shimmering embellishment along its left sleeve.
Meanwhile, Allison Williams had a princess moment in a lace gown with a full tiered skirt by Oscar de la Renta. She finished off the dramatic ensemble with a sleek clutch, which was also by the brand, a statement cocktail ring, and a pair of matching earrings. Whose take on the classic black dress did you think won on the red carpet?
It's not that hard to look chic when you're wearing head-to-toe Dior. That's what Naomi Watts did last night at a party celebrating the reopening of Kirna Zabete, the much-loved New York boutique. Watts wore a pale blue silk jacquard dress with a red graphic floral print from the house as well as a pair of black pumps from the house. It makes sense — a section of the new store is dedicated to Dior wares.
Who says you can't look fashionable in Winter?
As Fall is almost over, everybody is already starting to prep for the harsh, knife-stabbing-like cold weather! How do you stay stylish and still be protected from the freezing cold?
The solution is actually quite simple: your mohair sweaters. They will surely keep you warm and still look fabulous! H&M has all the colors you need, be it the most basic or the brightest. I just love how you can easily match them with almost anything.
For my first look, I decided to match my favorite H&M leather pants with my Capri blue mohair sweater. The look is very laid-back and effortless, making it very chic and elegant. It is cinched with my black pointed pumps from Zara.
You can never go wrong with a dark sapphire blue mohair sweater dress! It gives you that subtle, sexy vibe. At the same time, it is quite comfortable, not to mention wearable both at work and on the streets!
And let's not forget my black mohair sweater and my glossy patent skirt from Monki. I just love how the skirt makes the entire outfit edgy yet understated! The look is complemented with my H&M ankle booties.
Selena Gomez put aside the short, attention-grabbing Versace frocks she's been favoring recently to slip into something a little bit more subdued for an event in Dallas, TX, tonight. More subdued, sure, since it was a monochromatic black pantsuit look, but no less revealing — the look featured a deep v-neck that sliced down nearly to her navel. While we've slowly been getting used to the idea of Selena all grown-up, this is still a pretty sultry look. Do you like it?
Step aside black and gray –– there's a new neutral taking over! Camel is this season's hottest hue, and we're using it in the form of gorgeous accessories, knits, and jackets. We even dared to try camel on camel –– and it works. Watch to see!
