Jennifer Connelly is back as the Balenciaga muse. For Spring '08 she was standing proud, she sat out two seasons, and for Fall she's sprawled out on a couch. Many are commenting that her pose this time around is awkward and too sexy for the house, but I think her pose last time was equally stiff and awkward. Let me paint the picture for you: legs spread, arms stretched, and nearly falling off a couch, albeit in ultra chic polka-dot tights and killer shoes. Just looking at it is giving me a pain in my neck. What do you make of this?

Too skinny, her legs look unattractive. Too bad, she is beautiful, but really needs to gain some weight.

i worked with balenciaga and saw jennifer connelly a few times (in her own home!). she seems obsessed with balenciaga, which is kind of strange because she hardly ever dresses up (more than cargo pants and sweats with tough boots) outside the spotlight. but i do feel like she embodies the house and this new ad is a lot better than her stiff spring one....

she looks gorgeous. but the pose looks like she was dropped on to the couch. and personally, i hate the legs wide open poses that a lot of ads use. i don't get it. i find it offensive and i ain't a prude!

The picture and Jen's posture is weird. And I can hardly recognize her in this picture. She's slim, beautiful etc. and I love her as an actress, so I have mixed feelings. Or maybe I don't like the couch:)
