Luxury lingerie brand Agent Provocateur is hoping you'll slip into something a little more comfortable: its expanding beauty collection. The saucy retailer known for its sexy skivvies is opening new boutiques in an aim to expand its global reach.

Part of the expansion, reports WWD, involves the growth of its beauty offerings. The brand plans to launch a third fragrance this August, followed by a fourth in early 2011. Things will get more colorful in September of next year, when Agent Provocateur will release a small range of cosmetics for eyes, lips, and nails. Because I like the first AP fragrance, I'm looking forward to seeing this cheeky brand's take on makeup. Until then, I plan to continue my rich tradition of waiting for its lingerie sales to hit 75 percent off.

This weekend is guaranteed to be a snowy adventure. I'm heading to Reno with a couple of friends to celebrate its annual Santa Pub Crawl — fun! Along with Victoria's Secret, Agent Provocateur is also hitting the New York Fashion Week Spring 2010 catwalk. The British lingerie label will host a presentation for its new couture line, Agent Provocateur Soirée, which hits stores in November.

"Made in the couture tradition, it is a collection of the best made, highest quality pieces aimed at a customer for who money is no object, and who is looking for something for a special, fantasy evening," said Joe Corre, creative director and founder of AP. Underwears with Swarovski-encrusted French lace and hand-studded Italian leather will retail for up to $4,900.

Yesterday, I was throwing financial prudence to the wind at the Agent Provocateur 75 percent off sale, scooping up a lacy treat or two. While scoping out the stockings, I spotted this fabulously retro beauty cabinet. Its leather exterior is so smooth that it didn't even look like leather, and the drawers inside were glossy black. For a moment, I imagined how lovely it would be to primp in front of something like this. Then I noticed the $5,000 price tag and filed that reverie away in the Never Gonna Happen pile.
