Alejandro Ingelmo Shoes Spring 2013
Alejandro Ingelmo's Futuristic Shoes Take Us to Infinity and Beyond

For the ultimate respite from stormy conditions today, draw your attention to Alejandro Ingelmo's enticing, space-age Spring '13 footwear collection. If you're not familiar with the designer, Alejandro has a knack for melding his Cuban roots with the streets of his current hometown of NYC. The results? Modern, sexy designs that have earned him a spot as one of the top 10 candidates of the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund in '08 and nominations for the Swarovski Award for Accessory Design in '09 and '11. His latest collection highlights provocative lace-up sandals and sexy high heels made out of modern finishes like iridescent metallic and holographic python prints. High heels aren't your thing? Alejandro also created some chic leather and suede kitten heels perfect for office and beyond. Unfortunately, we will have to wait until Spring to get our hands on a pair but for now, check out our three favorite styles below and check out the complete collection in the slideshow. Which one is your top pick?
- How amazing would this stunning black and metallic sandal look with all your little black dresses? We love the futuristic cutout details.
- Want legs for days? These strappy suede nude lace-up pumps should do the trick. Pair with a fit-and-flare minidress and you're set.
- We love the idea of pairing these gorgeous iridescent python print pumps with cropped skinny jeans and a blazer for a boy-meets-girl look.
