The Whitney Museum's annual Art Party in NYC always attracts the crème de la crème of the fashion world — case in point: this style set from last night's festivities. In an image released Tuesday from Balenciaga's Fall 2013 campaign — the first since Alexander Wang took over as the house's creative director — a black-clad Kristen McMenamy is seen peeking out of an all-black room, with her left hand gripping the doorknob.
Wang told WWD that the campaign, shot by Steven Klein, is meant to be a "very cinematic portrayal" of his Fall 2013 debut for the house. He added that there's "lots of emotion, in contrast to the austerity bestowed in the show."
