Alexander Wang Cage Dress: Love It or Hate It?

We all dig the caged sandals trend, but what about Alexander Wang's Cage Dress ($645)? I'm usually a fan of slices but this creation has me in a tizzy. The mummy-like banding has major style potential but it can also look unflattering on a lot of peeps — me included. Hmm, what do you think?

i don't think the author has taste b/c they are going by whats to look good on them so... i like it but the style looks much better on shoes. I love Alexander McQueen and all his avan gard looks (i know i spelled it wrong) and I want to design like him when I grow up.

I put down hate it, but now I'm unsure. I love Alexander Wang, but I'm not quite sold on the dress. Maybe if I see it in person... I love the shape though.
