Icy blue backgrounds, transparent clothing, ethereal model with arms outstretched . . . did Alexander Wang and Elie Saab meet for coffee before shooting their respective ad campaigns? These ads share similar elements, yet they manage to project very different attitudes to represent their polar opposite brands. Wang's Aymeline Valade projects fierceness while Erin Wasson (who is friends with Wang) exudes femininity for Saab. What do you think is the most important factor in their difference?
