Alexandra Cassaniti Pocket Backpack: Love It or Hate It?

Just the other day I was asking if you were still wearing backpacks and the results came up a mixed bag. I've been pondering on whether or not I like this Alexandra Cassaniti Pocket Backpack ($330). The old school shape appeals to me and I like the artistic, paint splattered design. I could see myself taking this out to a nice summertime BBQ.

I love it... but for $330? Hell no... I'd rather buy a nice plain canvas back at like LL Bean or something, get some acrylic paint, and do it myself. PLus then I can pick the colors and design myself :)

maybe this will be one of the thing you only use one time, then put them in the back of your room door, so.. not such and intelligent buy..

I don't hate it, but I just can't fathom paying $330 for something I can actually make myself and cherish just a little bit more.

I checked "Undecided" but that is not entirely accurate. I'm honestly ambivalent toward the shape as well as the print. Perhaps if it were more cutting edge or a bit more retro in style or feel - I don't know - But this design that you're showing just leaves me flat.
