American Music Awards: Best Dressed

Today's musical bests came out for the American Music Awards, and several of them did so in style. There wasn't a lot of color or drama, but detailing and shimmer made up for it. Taylor Swift looked sweet in a beaded one shouldered dress, while Alicia Keys looked exotic in navy and a bindi. Miley was age appropo and gilded in her black and gold draped dress. Pink went for high drama in an asymmetrical Vivienne Westwood gown, while Sarah Chalke was paired down perfect in a satin Dolce & Gabbana LBD. We have quite a nice range here, but who made you swoon?

Out of these girls, Sarah Chalke looks the best by far. I don't like any of the dresses though, but Sarah's is nicest. Sorry, but pink looks like shes wearing a carpet. Gorgeous hair and makeup though. Miley looks like trash, Taylor is hideous, and Alicia looks the same to me all the time. Not the best choices here:P

this is best dressed? hm...Alicia is the only one that looks good, except those earrings are too big for that dress. The little head peice that shes wearing was enough. But the dress is gorgeous on her. When did Sarah Chalke get so skinny? yikes

I didn't really like any of these that much but I guess Alicia looks the best, except for the bindi. I don't like that on her. She does look statuesque in her dress though.

It's a tie for me against Miley and Pink. Miley looks dressed up, but still young and Pink stands out and looking daring and dramatic.

Miley's dress is designed by Marchesa (from the Spring 2009 line). Heidi Klum also wears it in the December '08 issue of InStyle magazine. Personally, the dress is drop-dead gorgeous. Anything designed Georgina Chapman (the Marchesa designer) always proves flawlessy elegant with this certain je-ne-sais-quoi exotic infusion. Simply breathtaking designs.
