Woman of the hour, Miss Oscar host herself, Anne Hathaway walked the red carpet at the 2011 Oscars in a strapless, regally red, full-length Valentino dress. What looked like an otherwise basic gown was adorned with rosettes to add both drama and pizazz. A bright, sparkly necklace and red lips to match the look finished it off. Not good, not good at all. Just seemed like the less beautiful cousin of her gorgeous red Marchesa dress from a couple years ago. I liked her looks during the ceremony though, especially her first white gown with the metallic accents.

Anne Hathaway consistently disappoints me on the red carpet. This is just so boring. There's nothing new or unique about it and I'm a big hater of red on the red carpet (which unfortunately we're seeing a lot this year). I also think this color is unflattering on her. As a young famous starlet who must have access to some amazing dresses, I expect more.

Red is the best friend of women with dark hair, dark eyes, but fair skin. It looks garish on people who are a lot lighter or darker. She looks amazing.
