Anne Hathaway in White at The Dark Knight Rises Premiere (Video)

Anne Hathaway's a knockout in a white hot gown. Hi, it's Allison McNamara and you're watching FabSugar TV. The New York City premiere of the Dark Night Rises to place last evening. And my jaw literally dropped when I saw Anne Hathaway on the Red Carpet. She always has a very regal, elegant sense of style, but this took it to a whole new level. Anne chose a white jersey gown from Prabal Gurung's Resort 2013 collection, and this dress is all about the detail. A deep plunging neckline in front is accented with a jewel exposed corset. In back a draped cowl neck and waterfall train give the dress an extra dose of drama. It also has a peplum. Now usually when we see gowns with peplums, they tend to be more structured, but we like how this one has just a little flutter ruffle at the waist. This ultra-feminine gown provides the right amount of contrast from her super short hairstyle, which she cut for her role in Les Miserables. And although we think her pixie cut looks great on her, Anne told Kelly Ripa from Live With Kelly that when she first chopped off her hair, she was inconsolable. We think it allows for her beauty to take center stage. Much like Michelle Williams and Natalie Portman, who perfected that boy meets girl style while having their respective short hairdos. She finished off her red carpet look with a pretty pink lip. Her co-star, Marion Cotillard, was also in attendance at the premiere and like Anne opted for a lighter shade in an Christian Dior couture ruffled dress and silver Christian Louboutin heels.
