Ashlee Simpson Style (Interview)

Last night at the launch of the Missoni for Havaianas collaboration, where Ashlee Simpson of course wore Missoni for Havaianas flip flops, we got to catch up with the singer-slash-designer, who is currently working on a tweed clothing line. First we got the lowdown on her personal style: "I dress for comfort a lot of the time. I have a daily lifestyle of being a mom; I know I'm going to be picking up a 42-pound child, so sometimes heels don't make sense," Ashlee told us. "As far as going out, I like to go with my feeling. I definitely love that mod kind of look right now." So what are some quintessential Ashlee Simpson pieces? "I'm definitely a flip flop person, ballet flats, a good pump, cutoff jean shorts, a good long skirt, and a few hippie dresses. And then you always need a good blazer."
