The collection just touched down in stores and online today, bringing with it Michelle Smith's signature pops of print, brights, and polished feminine dressing. You may recognize the label Issa London by its first claim to fame: Kate Middleton wore its royal blue wrap dress on the day her engagement to Prince William was announced. But come Aug. 6, there will be another reason why Issa London proves a growing household name. The London-based brand is collaborating with Banana Republic on a nearly 40-piece safari heritage-inspired collection, which will include clothing and accessories. What exactly does that mean for us? Think zebra-print kimono dresses, bold pebbled leather envelope clutches, gold chain necklaces, and leather-wrapped bangles, with prices ranging from $40 to $150. While we've yet to see the official capsule collection, here's your first look at the sketches, as well as some of our favorite Issa London runway moments thus far.

Just in time for the holiday dressing season, Banana Republic's complete Anna Karenina collection is now available to shop online and in stores. The retro, ladylike collection, inspired by the heart-wrenching 19th-century Russian romance, features lace sheath dresses, elegant pencil skirts, shimmery tops, and, of course, gorgeous faux-fur accompaniments to complete the moody Winter feel. To add even more shine to your holiday look, the accessories from the collection show gorgeous vintage-inspired baubles like crystal chandelier earrings and metal-tipped pumps. The classics got a contemporary reboot for Banana Republic's Spring '13. All the looks we love — think chic striping, trench coats, and the quintessential Spring LWD, but with a fresh injection of the trends we're loving right now. So, striped separates are styled with other printed pieces, the white suit is topped with a sleeveless blazer, and the trench gets a moto-inspired finish. While sticking to a striking palette mostly in white, blue, and red (echoed in the models' rouge lips), there are a few flashes of citrus on a tangerine shift or a yellow-on-yellow trouser and top pairing. As for the accessories, Banana stays true to its classic lineup of leather goods, this time in a leather ankle-strap sandal (with the perfect, walkable heel), a sturdy work tote finished in zippers, and a carry-everywhere zip-up clutch.
