Banana Republic and Issa London Team Up For Capsule Collection
You may recognize the label Issa London by its first claim to fame: Kate Middleton wore its royal blue wrap dress on the day her engagement to Prince William was announced. But come Aug. 6, there will be another reason why Issa London proves a growing household name. The London-based brand is collaborating with Banana Republic on a nearly 40-piece safari heritage-inspired collection, which will include clothing and accessories. What exactly does that mean for us? Think zebra-print kimono dresses, bold pebbled leather envelope clutches, gold chain necklaces, and leather-wrapped bangles, with prices ranging from $40 to $150. While we've yet to see the official capsule collection, here's your first look at the sketches, as well as some of our favorite Issa London runway moments thus far.
Coco Rocha Styles Us For Spring (With a Mod Twist!)
Coco Rocha teamed up with Banana Republic for its third Mad Men-inspired collection. The line fully captures the mod style of the 1960s — think bold prints, big bouffant hairstyles, neck scarves, and dramatic cat-eye makeup. Taking cues from the iconic decade's print-on-print mixing, bright colors, and creative accessorizing, our fashion reporter Allison McNamara styled out a Spring-perfect outfit, along with Coco Rocha, at The Grove in LA. Watch on to see the final result! On Allison McNamara: Madewell dress, Stella & Dot necklace.

Banana Republic Kicks Off 2013 With a Milly Collaboration
The New Year is already bringing new designer collaborations to look forward to, namely a 60-plus-item men's and women's collection from Milly's Michelle Smith for Banana Republic. While a special collection is nothing new for the retailer, who has brought television- and film-inspired collaborations to the masses — drawing on the dramatic period fashion of both Mad Men and Anna Karenina — in addition to a capsule collection with Trina Turk and a line of Virgin America flight-crew uniforms, this is an exciting way to give Milly a much broader audience. Smith was ready for the opportunity and a challenge (did we mention this is the first time the designer has tackled menswear?), but she says, "It's a very positive, happy collection. The colors and patterns capture the modern spirit of Summer." What else can you expect? A new print created just for the capsule, six updated Milly prints, vibrant hues, and the easy, breezy vibe of the Hamptons-chic beach lifestyle. The collaboration — which is priced from $45-$175 for women's apparel, $25-$65 for menswear, and $40-$130 for jewelry and accessories — hits stores in May in select Banana Republic locations worldwide and online.

The retro, ladylike collection, inspired by the heart-wrenching 19th-century Russian romance, features lace sheath dresses, elegant pencil skirts, shimmery tops, and, of course, gorgeous faux-fur accompaniments to complete the moody Winter feel. To add even more shine to your holiday look, the accessories from the collection show gorgeous vintage-inspired baubles like crystal chandelier earrings and metal-tipped pumps. With price points ranging from $25 to $198, there's plenty of room in your budget to nab one or two pieces to add to your party season artillery. See our top picks below, then flip the slideshow to check out the complete collection.
- We love a double-duty piece. This luxurious faux-fur vest can easily be paired with a party dress at night or with a pencil skirt and turtleneck during the day.
- How pretty is this lace sheath dress? Perfect for holiday cocktails or even the office, if you style it with black pumps and a tailored blazer.
- We love the idea of wearing this dove gray lace pencil skirt with a chunky oversize sweater and ankle boots for a cozy Winter look.
Banana Republic Does Americana in Red, White, and Stripes For Spring
The classics got a contemporary reboot for Banana Republic's Spring '13. All the looks we love — think chic striping, trench coats, and the quintessential Spring LWD, but with a fresh injection of the trends we're loving right now. So, striped separates are styled with other printed pieces, the white suit is topped with a sleeveless blazer, and the trench gets a moto-inspired finish. While sticking to a striking palette mostly in white, blue, and red (echoed in the models' rouge lips), there are a few flashes of citrus on a tangerine shift or a yellow-on-yellow trouser and top pairing. As for the accessories, Banana stays true to its classic lineup of leather goods, this time in a leather ankle-strap sandal (with the perfect, walkable heel), a sturdy work tote finished in zippers, and a carry-everywhere zip-up clutch. For a closer look at what's to come for Spring, click through and sneak peek the collection.
