Battle of the Zac Posen: Miranda vs. Charlotte vs. Samantha

In one scene from the Sex and the City movie they were filming last week — I won't give away more than that, wouldn't want to spoil the movie for anyone! — Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha all wear Zac Posen dresses. Miranda looks ravishing in a cobalt blue floor-length number and Samantha is radiant in red ruffles, both from Posen's Spring 2008 collection. Meanwhile, Charlotte went all-out in an architectural black mermaid gown from Zac's Fall 2007 collection. But most importantly: who wore Zac best?!

That black dress isn't doing anything for Kristen Davis other than making her look shorter and a lot plumper--which a black dress isn't supposed to do!

I voted Miranda. Charlotte's dress is like nails on a chalkboard. Hideous. & P.S. All I see are her arms and they look really bad in the photo. Not toned at all. You'd think she would be rock solid given this is THE movie for her.

Charlotte looks awful in this pic. But in other ones that I've seen of her in this dress, she looks just beautiful. But I still think Miranda looks better.

Ok, I saw another pic of Charlotte that was very lovely, but this is off. Doesn't this look kinda distorted like one of those fun house mirrors to anyone else? That photo is off.

that colour of blue is perfect on miranda. not sure if it's just the picture, but charlotte looks quite large in her dress and she is definitely not a big person. samantha was a close second for me, her dress fits her really well.

i love the ornate structure of charlotte's but find something slightly off. it just doesn't seem to fit her... miranda is stunning! her ensemble is the most flattering by far.

Yeah Charlotte is slightly pear shaped, and as a pear shaped woman all I can say is I would have thrown a hissy fit until they changed my dress.

What is going on with this movie?! I know SATC had a big effect on women's fashions but why are they taking it up ten notches? The outfits so far we have seen look so distracting even in a NY background!

i must say miranda's colour of dress works REALLY well with her hair colour. Yah, what the heck is Charlotte wearing? :P
