Becki Newton in Sequin YSL Jumpsuit: Love It or Hate It?

2009 is the year of the jumpsuit, whether we like it or not. Becki Newton further backed that up when she wore Yves Saint Laurent's sequin green jumpsuit to the Metropolitan Opera's 125th anniversary gala in NYC. With a statement piece like this, it was wise of her to keep her accessories to a minimum. I must say though, her YSL caged sandals provided a bit of friendly competition with the jumpsuit. Are you into this or not?

No, nevermind, I just saw the other picture that someone posted...it looks so silly. Like a clown's baggy pants. The color is gorgeous though. Too bad they didn't make it a dress. Ah, Becky, usually I love your style.

hmmm....it doesn't really look like a jumpsuit in pic and I like the top and the color, but the bottom portion doesn't really do her figure any favors. I voted "hate it" but I think I'm undecided.

wow, i had no idea! i like it....that color is the best part. shoes are hot, but i agree w/ others...maybe a bit too much w/ all the sequins.

Ok you can't really tell it's a jumpsuit from that photo...but its STILL a jumpsuit.

I love it. I too hate jumpsuits, but this is just awesome. the rich color and sequins make it look so sleek and sophisticated, while the cut makes it fun. it doesn't look like a jumpsuit, which is part of why it looks so good. and while I hate caged sandals and would have preferred a more tame shoe, I think she looks awesome...
