As we eagerly await Lily Allen's Chanel debut for the new Chanel Coco Cocoon handbag line in October, let's satiate our hunger with this cool behind-the-seams peek. Check out Karl carefully examining his muse as the makeup artist perfects Lily's princess pouf and makeup. The diamond encrusted tiara fits her quirky personality and peep that high collar top. I wonder what the ad will look like; perhaps Lilly sitting pretty amongst hundreds of Coco Cocoon bags? Whatever Karl comes up with, I'm sure it'll be fabulous.

It cracks me up that people who look at anorexic/bulimic depressed models think they know what class is. Lily Allen looks good. The Audrey Hepburn idea works.

Chanel does a great job at mixing up their advertisements and keeping their line up to date and modern. The models they choose are always so classic and look great no matter what-- I can't wait to see this add, I'm sure it will be just as good, if not better than all the others.

Same here -- I don't like Lily for Chanel. Lily Allen, really?? Coco Chanel is about intelligent, timeless elegance. She thought outside of the box, and there was something fresh and chic about her ideas. This is the woman who invented the "little black dress." Sorry, in my opinion, Lily is NOT Chanel material. Poor Coco is turning over in her grave.

Ugh I can't stand Lily. I tried to listen to her new album and it was so trashy I just threw it out. She definitely does not embody the essence of Chanel by any means. Why?
