Belts Away!

Although it can be comfy to just have your dress loose and free-flowing in the heat of Summer, to keep as cool as possible, the right belt can really transform that loose summer dress into a figure-accentuating number - a totally different outfit with just the addition of one accessory.

This week's Life and Style looks to Kate Bosworth for inspiration - the metallic belt she wore really adds a bit of edge to the washed out colors of her shirt dress. The other great thing about investing in a metallic belt like Kate's is it's one of those pieces that transitions easily from Summer to Fall!

belts! "woohoo: love accessories! i don't know about wide metallic ones anymore though... at some point i noticed that gold wide metallic belts were a must-have for a clubbing outfit... everyone was wearing it! the skiny ones are cute :)

Anyone else have a ridiculous hard time finding belts small enough to wear HIGH on their waists? (like Kate is). I adore the Nordstrom pick, but I don't know if it's small enough...
