The 10 Best Dressed Stars of the Week Had a Very Specific Uniform

Whether on the red carpet at international film festivals or hitting up the front row of the hottest runway shows at New York Fashion Week, the stars were most definitely out this week.

Oddly enough, though, the best dressed of the bunch seemed bent on wearing a very particular look. Aside from some pop-of-color outliers (most notably in the form of Cate Blanchett's vibrant purple trousers), it was all about black and white styling this week. From Olivia Palermo and Shay Mitchell's almost identical vest ensembles to Taylor Swift's playful Sass & Bide peplum, contrast was key — and it comes as no surprise considering how good such a uniform looks. As we see what the rest of this very fashionable month brings, see who's made it onto our top 10 best dressed list this week.
