When the worlds of television and film collide on the red carpet [1], there are bound to be a few casualties. Fortunately, the Screen Actors Guild Awards brought more victories than defeats — which made the job of crowning a best-dressed star a difficult task.
Amy Adams [2] kept her winning streak going in a vibrant and modern Antonio Berardi gown [3]. Looking pretty in pink, Cate Blanchett [4] turned to a red carpet standby [5] of hers, Givenchy. Jennifer Garner [6] and Jennifer Lawrence [7] made a strong case for navy in dynamic strapless gowns, Max Mara and Dior Haute Couture, respectively. Perhaps the evening's brightest spot (both on stage and on the red carpet!) was one of the night's big winners, Lupita Nyong'o, who wore Gucci's one-of-a-kind turquoise design [8].
